About Maistros Santorini

Maistros Santorini is a Greek ferry company that links Santorini with four islands nearby: Anafi to the east, and Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros to the west. It runs passenger boats only, which makes it the line for a light-luggage hop between neighbouring islands rather than for a car or an overnight passage.

The boats

The company sails two open-deck passenger boats, the Santorini and the Maistros, each for up to 200 passengers. There are no cabins, and neither boat carries cars or motorbikes.

The routes on this site

  • Santorini - Anafi: about three return trips a week, about 1 h 30 each way. Blue Star Ferries serves the same pair with a conventional ship, so on Anafi - Santorini the two operators complement each other.
  • Santorini - Ios - Sikinos - Folegandros: about twice a week a round from Santorini via Ios and Sikinos to Folegandros and straight back. Santorini - Ios takes about 1 h 15, Ios - Sikinos about 30 minutes, Santorini - Folegandros about 2 h 30 with the stops. See Ios - Santorini, Sikinos - Santorini and Folegandros - Santorini.

The sailing days for your date are in the timetable, and the whole network is on the route map.

Check-in and pets

Be at the quay at least one hour before departure; the ticket is checked at the gangway. Pets travel free of charge on the outdoor deck areas, dogs on a leash and muzzled, smaller animals in a carrier.

Tickets

Tickets are sold online through the booking step on the route pages. The fare depends on the leg and the date; departures are in the timetable.
